Clicking "Get beta access" opens a form built on Tally, a third-party form service. It collects your name, email, and an answer to a pricing-sensitivity question. We use this only to invite you to the Beta and understand what people are willing to pay — it isn't sold or shared beyond running the waitlist itself. See Tally's own privacy policy for how they handle submitted data.
When you buy LocalEditor, Dodo Payments handles checkout as the merchant of record — we never see or store your payment details. Your billing information is processed under Dodo's own Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms.
This site uses none. No analytics scripts, no tracking cookies, no ad pixels.
LocalEditor never uploads, syncs, or transmits the contents of your notes or files anywhere. Everything you write stays on your own disk, in your own folders. No sync, ever — that's a permanent principle of how LocalEditor is built, not a feature we might add later.
The waitlist submission above is the only thing we hold — nothing else. Email [email protected] to see it or have it deleted. This policy may change as LocalEditor grows; the date above always reflects the latest version.
